Public Safety Training Center

The first arriving engine company on an incident has the opportunity to put the pieces in place and relay information vital to the success of incoming units; and ultimately, the successful outcome of an incident.  This course will examine methodologies that first arriving engine companies can establish to ensure their success on the fireground; but, also ways to relay a successful ongoing size up of the incident to assist in managing the incident and ensuring additional companies receive vital information for their operations.  A classroom portion of the course will serve as a background for a practical portion of class with time allowances for students to practice these techniques.
