Description |
Fire and Emergency Services Instructor 3 will go through classroom sessions, research assignments, and practical fieldwork. This course will provide students with an understanding of the skills and knowledge required to function effectively as an administrative level fire instructor. The course will challenge students to develop and implement curricula to meet training demands, trends, and applicable standards. After successful completion of this program, the students will receive professional certification recognition in accordance with NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor III. Subjects to be covered include leadership, human resources, administration, program and curriculum development, instructional and program management strategies, and needs-analysis development and assessment strategies Pre-requisites: 18 y/o, Fire and Emergency Services Instructor 2 (certified) Required Equipment: Laptop computer, note pad, writing implement |
