Air Monitoring for First Responders is a course designed for first responders. The process of reading a hazardous materials meter and applying information obtained at the scene with resources such as the ERG, NIOSH Pocketguide, SDS, and subject experts can be overwhelming. This course is designed to apply some basic skills to apply to a hazardous incident as a first responder. The instructors are well versed on the varisou meters available on the market and will assist responders in understanding their meters. The attended audience for this program is the firefighters, EMS, and law enforcement personnel that may respond and arrive on a hazardous materials incident and take awareness, to operations level roles.
