Description Emergency Medical Technician (Blended)

The EMT program is conducted in a blended training format with online, instructor-lead lecture presentations, homework assignments, group projects, skills application, and formal written testing processes in place. The program is a total of 208 hours, with some of the curriculum hours delivered via an online, virtual classroom platform. Students will be responsible to complete the online learning portions within a time frame explained on the course syllabus. Online learning is at the students own pace with completion criteria in place. Students will then meet at a physical location with instructors to further learn and apply the skills taught in the online platform. Virtual learning enviroment will include instructor narrated presentations, quizes, additional learning support activities and a communication platform to contact a certified instructor.
