Public Safety Training Center

This class is designed to orient teh new or aspiring company officer to the responsibilities of the posistion and to provide them with an orientation to the process of managing the first 10-15 minutes of an incident pending the arrival of an experienced line officer.

Pre-requisites: 18 y/o, Interior Firefighter or Firefighter 1

Recommened course to prepare include: Advanced Firefighter, Firefighter 2, Building Construction: Wood/Ordinary, Building Construction: Non-combustable, Fire Dynamics: Fundamentals, Fire Dynmaics: Strategy & Tactics, Arson Detection for First Responders, Pump Operations 1

Required Equipment: Notebook, Pen/pencil, Structural Fire PPE, SCBA
